Okay… you want feelings. I’ll give you the feelings and furious anger.

Obama is going to put far too many of his fellow Americans into harm’s way because his clownish policy directives are so poorly thought out that it suggests that a bunch of hamsters put together his national security directives on detainees. In fact, hamsters would sooner write a Shakespearean play than come up with this claptrap.

Obama is playing politics with national security, which comes as no surprise. His fellow Democrats have been doing it for years, and now that they’re in charge, they’re running ragged over the very tools that have kept us - (them included) safe.

Terrorists captured on the battlefield need to be kept in secure facilities, and Gitmo was not only a secure facility, but one that provides humane conditions for the most inhumane of mankind. These detainees know nothing but hate, and yet hate is what they have in common with Obama’s most strident supporters.

For all the hate lobbed at the Bush Administration, Bush did one thing and did it well - he prevented another 9/11. That’s Obama’s cross to bear, and he’s got to continue that streak. He’s doing his utmost to end that streak as his words and deeds - not only on Gitmo, but on Islam-American relations sends precisely the wrong message. It’s one of weakness and apologia that tells the evil regimes and the Islamists that they can push Obama to concede large parts of the world to their evil causes. That too will get many killed. It is a reversal of freedom for millions who continue to be oppressed by Islamists and yet we’re the bad ones.
