Well look, if you are going to go on somebody’s own website and challenge them you also have to own the idea that you are on private property. I have no respect for RSM, yet what he chooses to have on his site is his business and while it is certainly fair for me or you or anyone to critique (even pointedly and harshly) what he writes, I don’t expect him to pay for it (which is what a website owner has to do to keep the url and buy hosting services.)

Therein lay a serious problem for the internet taking over the role of the newspaper - holding people accountable for what they write. In a purely digital world it is very easy to just delete the past.
