Which is a little idiotic, given what the show portrays about life in the lawless, no-central-government areas.

Sure, it’s bad on the central planets, too, but the places Mal goes are no better, and often much worse.

True dat.

But let’s face it. Most ‘libertarians’ suffer from ‘Meanest Son Of A Bitch In The Valley’ syndrome. They wouldn’t mind living in such a place because they think they’d be apex predators.

I almost wish they’d get their wish just to listen to them whine and watch them piss themselves when they find how screwed up their fantasies are.
