It happens. In comedy clubs it’s still an acceptable word even for white comedians. Maybe they found a guy who’s laid back, understands comedy and didn’t really understand it was a political rally not a comedy festival.

Comedy is supposed to be funny. That wasn’t funny and the guy doesn’t look laid back about it. The last white comedian I saw use the word in a club was Michael Richards, in an act of career suicide.
