If we had any sense we’d realize that the “aftermath” of arresting people and taking children away (which may happen) is worse than the supposed problem.

It’s like that with most of our laws. Someone smokes some pot in Texas, (or they find a perfectly clean pot pipe and look for microscopic residue), or a single tab of acid , why put him jail for 50 years, ruin his life, destroy his family… LOOK, EVERYTHING IS ALL BETTER!
