Yes, the teacup hold is where one hand is on the grip and the other cups the bottom. It looked like an alright way to hold it…however, since I am new…would prefer to learn the right way rather than break bad habits
One last tip (most good instructors will tell you). When you use the two-hand grip, you’ll have a strong side and a weak side. Let’s say you’re right handed. When you grip the weapon, push slightly forward with your right hand, and pull slightly back with your left. Try to achieve the same pressure in each direction. When you do that, you’ll immediately feel steadier, and it will really help provide stability and accuracy.
