The other day I had a chain saw out chopping some very overgrown shrubs and just noticed something at shoulder level 6 inches from the saw and one stem to go.

Was a nest with 4 pretty eggs in it and when I looked up at the bird above I saw it was a cardinal.

Still there and stays on the nest if one comes as close as two feet from it.

I wonder how long ‘till I can finish the yard work?
