Well, it demonstrably is, if we’re defining it in terms of gays serving openly in the military or gay marriage. If you’re talking about the undefinable psychological state, then, yeah, that’s unproveable.

BTW, there are plenty of anti-minority gay bigots in SF, let alone elsewhere - it hasn’t disappeared, it’s gone underground.

It’s gotten much, much smaller than since I was a kid, due to the hard work of quite a lot of non-white gay activists.
