Smaller lower level leaders seeking to advance themselves as military heroes may scream a little louder but the PA leadership, given circumstances, have been utterly docile.

Think of what Arafat would have done and look at Abbas’s inaction. Arafat would have escalated and propagandized like mad. Not happening now and it is so brazenly obvious the Sunni Arab world leaders are giving Israel a big “yasher ko’ach” (Hebrew for may you have strength) on pounding Iran’s proxy to dust.

Assuming the tanks move in soon, Hamas will be done as a political and terror force for years to come. Israel’s security situation would be enormously improved in a hundred dimensions.

Please, G-d, let Ehud Olmert not chicken out for five more days……
