re: #598 ploome hineni

here is a question for you

how much sharia can you accept

are you aware that there is no seperation of ‘church and state’ in islam?

and why don’t you describe to me

an islamic state…you have 57 to choose from

I can accept sharia (as something my neighbors subscribe to), so long as it remains within the bounds of U.S., state and local law, and, as halacha is for me, is something adhered to within a religious community.

There is separation of church and state in the United States. Muslims who wish to become part of the American fabric have been willing to embrace this. Those who cannot will be better off elsewhere, or at least should be elsewhere.

I do not want to describe an Islamic state. I’m having dinner. For this reason, many Muslims have an interest in moving somewhere else, where they can be Muslim and live in freedom and prosperity.

Done now.
