I didn’t realize this, but in just looking it up, Cinamon Hadley, the real-life inspiration for the character Death, passed away earlier this year.

RIP.

1969 ~ 2018
Cinamon Lou Hadley of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 48.
Cinamon was born to parents Greg and Patricia Hadley on November 6, 1969 in Barstow CA. She grew up as the eldest of 4 children. She began her artistic career dancing for a small ballet company at the age of 8 and was principal dancer before ending her dance career. Cinamon went on to serve as muse for the character ‘Death’ of the Endless in the acclaimed Sandman comic book by Neil Gaiman. Turning to her talents in design, Cinamon entered the world of fashion becoming well known for her creations and her unique style.

“Cinamon’s influence on Goth Fashion and culture cannot be overstated.” - www.post-punk.com

Cinamon is survived by her Mother, Patricia Hadley; her Father Greg Hadley; her sister Ragetta Hadley-Plunkett; and her brothers Grant and Lamarr Hadley; long time companion Dan Silver, and many more loving friends and adoring fans too numerous to list.
