So the vote in the Senate on the Ryan Plan was 40-57. For those of you keeping track, that means every Democrat, both Independents, and 4 Republicans voted down the Ryan Plan.

This is in spite of wingnut predictions that Democrats who were up for reelection next year would all break ranks and vote in favor of the Plan, in defiance of Reid and Obama.
