Should I be concerned when 2 long time posters such as you two start to disagree like this? It seems that the tone of this page has been slowly changing toward the left for sometime now and it causing more dissension even among the old-timers. I could be wrong of course but there really does seem to be a leftward drift occurring. You can also see this in past associations this page had with other sites breaking down.

I’m not aware of any leftward drift. There’s been an increase in criticism of the Right, that’s certain - but that’s because the Right has been doing all sorts of things that richly deserve criticism.

It isn’t a binary world, however, where disagreement with the stupid shit currently dominating the Right somehow implies support for their opposition on the Left. All it means is that the Right is collectively acting like a pack of morons at the moment.

The often harsh criticism of such moronitude is a reflection of concern over where Conservatism is headed and who will be left to champion it once the neo-Nazis, Birchers, Birthers, Troofers and other idiots have poisoned all the wells.
