Iceland has no army, but a little naval power. Most of its defense requirements are maintained by Denmark of which it was a part until 1940.

Do we have a base on Iceland?

The USA had a rather large base on Iceland until quite recently. It is closed now. The Icelandic president suggested a few weeks ago to give it to Russia. (they quietly declined the offer)
