I crawled out from under my rock to say this:

If it were up to me to punish Polanski for his crime of 30 years ago, I’d have hunted him to the ends of the Earth to ensure that he eventually choked on specific (and very painfully removed) parts of his anatomy. No mitigation, no mercy, certainly no fucking excuses.

30 years does not lessen the fact that he’s a fucking nonce. End of story.
