Some of those deaths are labelled “homicide”, over 100 of them I think. They were murdered in US custody. Not ‘died of wounds suffered from being captured”. (BTW, we’re required to give medical treatment to anyone who’d been injured while fighting anyway.)

Read the descriptions of the circumstances of deaths. Some of them were beaten to death. Some died with their restraints on. Some died because they were left in stress positions too long.

Were all, some, or none of them being interrogated at the time? Because the use of force during interrogation is what we are discussing here, not whether killing or torturing prisoners is generally permissible.
