That seems to be the goal of the Progressives. I find it most interesting that inheritied wealth votes for candidates with socialistic tendencies (worldwide, not just in the US). In such a system, they lose nothing, but maintain their class while others cannot enter their class.

Another pattern I’ve noticed: Place incredible burdens on the system, then criticize the system as not workable.
