He was an officer on a nuclear submarine. That means he was a nuclear engineer and did watches with the reactor.

I was recently talking to a friend about his former Navy career. When he served, he wanted to be on a nuclear sub. Because of an arrest for something he did when he was 16 or 17, something that was pretty much a misdemeanor, he couldn’t get the proper clearance.

I wonder if our current president, with his admitted drug use, and associations with people who were members of radical organizations, could get that clearance?
