The GOPers already have a response to this. Something like this is only considered to be scandalous when RWers see a political opponent do it. They hounded Anthony Weiner to the point where he resigned from Congress. All they’ll most likely say about this is that “Democrats are jealous because MT is such a beautiful woman.” On an issue like this one, the staunch RW Christian Republicans are more than willing to defend it. Selective outrage combined with selective forgiveness are in their special tool kit for excusing the inexcusable.
