Well, I have to go to Alliance in a few minutes so I thought I’d check in first.

So it appears someone tried to break the Pacific Ocean in Indonesia and Alaska.

I hope everyone is okay there … why is it that people have to jump on Twitter and be the first to spread fear? One single bouy shows a marked increase in height, and I read around that there were as high as 100 metre tsunamis.

(Any number of things can cause a single bouy to go up 33 feet in an earthquake … that’s why NOAA operates more than one bouy.)
