That implicates the NYT then since part of their reason for going along with this extraordinary anonymous thing is based on the person’s job being in jeopardy.

In jeopardy could mean a lot of things. Like I said the House GOP could hypothetically impeach him, and I wouldn’t put it past Trump and the GOP base to call for that if evidence mounts that it was Pence and he refuses to properly atone or resign.

The obvious problem with that plan is that the automatic replacement for Pence is Paul Ryan, and after November it’s likely to be a Democrat, probably Nancy Pelosi.
