They vote Republican because Democrats decided that blacks should have a chance as well.

Not an issue in Illinois or Iowa or Indiana. There were never going to be black farmers there. It was sundown towns all the way to Chicago.

And to clarify further: my family were all New Deal Democrats as farmers. That all changed when big ag moved in.
