Hmmm… if that law were still in place, we wouldn’t have Bobby Jindal as Gov. of LA. He is the first Indian-American governor in the country and his parents emigrated to the US from India months before he was born. The Republican Governor from Louisiana and former Congressman and one of the youngest governors in history.
