I’ve written two letters in the past year or so. One to the rep from where I live (Dem) and one to the rep from where I work (GOP). I got generic responses from both. They—or their staff—probably didn’t even read it. I could have sent them a letter in Latin and they probably wouldn’t have noticed.

LOL! I wish you’d written something like, “to quote the Emperor Augustus: “Festina lente”.” Then you could sit back and watch their heads explode as they tried to figure out what that meant.
