We’re talking about the torture issue, and it involves more than waterboarding, and more people were waterboarded (and otherwise tortured, and occasionally murdered) than ‘a couple of Al Queda masterminds’.

I understand that it is much prettier and much more comfortable to believe that the US didn’t torture, and that the US only used a couple of harsh techniques, and then only against maybe 2 really really bad guys, and it saved thousands of lives.

That gauzy fantasy isn’t the reality though. Not by a long shot. And it makes me sick.
I am also especially angry because it just keeps getting worse.
