Because this idiotic statement just means “Everyone thinks what they think”. Bias exists— for example, you have an extreme bias against Democrats, because you think that they’re weak on national security, and because you are an extreme anti-federalists. This bias blinds you to circumstances where the Democrats are much better on national security than the GOP.

Some day you might want to try raising your credibility by getting some facts and figures straight, Rogue.

Of course, in your world of complete hyperbole, 1/3 = 1/2, if it suits your biases.

I have an extreme bias in this election cycle against dems and I take that into consideration when I’m looking at the national mood. Having a bias isn’t bad, not realizing it or taking it into consideration is what I consider “lying to yourself”. Expanding on that, the belief that there are politically active groups out there that aren’t in any way biased is akin to believing in the tooth fairy.
