Seriously? Bringing up the south’s slave owning past within the context of the recent tragic events? That’s a highly irrational notion. It’s no different than when people claim that San Francisco gets hit with earthquakes because of the gay population. And don’t forget that it’s not only the south that had slaves — it was also in the north. And don’t forget it was also the Union states and president that went off to slaughter the American Indians. There’s no such thing as karma like this. Anywhere.
