Honestly, I think his chances would be better against Rubio than against Trump or Cruz. Against Trump, they share inchoate anger with the state of the world but Trump offers a juicier set of targets. Against Cruz, they both share disdain for the Obama administration, but one of them knows what he wants to replace it with, while the other hasn’t a clue. Against Rubio, his strategy isn’t as obviously dominated.
