Elected to control the WH certainly. In the case of the legislature I disagree. There were elected to represent their constituents in their districts and, on accident because of the timing of the bank failures, the dems won in droves. Your thinking this is a mandate for super liberal massive government overhaul and increase is a great example of my point. Thank you so much for illustrating it for me.

Your point appears to be that because the dems were democratically elected to have a majority, this shows that….they need to be more deferential to republicans? Uh-huh.
