That a talk show host has the kind of influence that Rush does on the Republican party is just madness to me. I’ll be honest here. I hate most political talk radio hosts because I think the vast majority of them are a bunch of self righteous blowhards with no intellectual qualities at all about them.

We’re living in the dark future, what can I say. I grew up watching Blade Runner and Total Recall and The Running Man and Soylent Green and Max Headroom and reading Brave New World and 1984 and fahrenheit 451 and now I’m living inside it.

But yeah, the only talk shows I can tolerate are talk show satirists.
