Bush Derangement Syndrome was actually legitimate. He did lie and we started a war that got the whole world crying. What the hell did Obama do? He didn’t raise your taxes, he didn’t take your guns, he didn’t close your churches? What the fuck is wrong with these people?

Easy, he got elected. But yeah I understood some of the Bush hatred. Didn’t think the real irrational stuff was right but some of it was legit but a lot of the Obama hatred is just racist or xenophobic in nature or completely misdirected like blaming Obama for the debt. That’s why I thought the Tea Party was a sham of a movement. Where were these folks when Bush was increasing the deficit? My guess, they either didn’t care or they were calling the people who criticized Bush unpatriotic “because you can’t criticize the president at a time of war.”*
*Unless that president’s name is Obama
