PBGC only insures pension plans, not health plans. That’s why Obama is going for nationalized medicine— to get the union retirees on to the government teat as quickly as possible, before the retiree health plans go under.

So, if health care is nationalized, what happens to the money (if any) left in retiree health plans? Serious question — I have no idea.
