maybe that is what makes it safer, everyone is paying attention. the book by tom Vanderbilt that I put up a couple of comments ago is really good at breaking down traffic in efficiency and in safety.

Tom Vanderbilt. Yes! That rings a bell. I heard him interviewed on radio, and his ideas were intriguing.

As with other research topics, it seems some of the best ideas go against “accepted wisdom.” Keeps life interesting.
