I wonder what Avanti thinks of this? It could affect his Studebaker market.

We’ve discussed the cash for clunkers program in the Studebaker club that some states already have. A $750 national program won’t have much of a effect on the old car hobby, since collector cars are worth more. Even with newer, used cars, most are worth more then $750. It might get a beater 1982 Olds turned in and crushed, and effect the 82 Olds collectors 20 years from now when he needs a parts car. Most states allow collector clubs to weed out the crazy old lady that turns in her nice 57 Chevy out of misplaced patriotism.
