I saw a news clip about this and the dog is great and the girl is cute but no one mentioned, at all, how this three year old child managed to “get lost”. How are you not watching a child that young?

# 1 son is 3, autistic, and a stealthy little escape artist. Little rat wakes up around 4 every a.m. But for dead-bolts that need keys - we installed them after his first escape - he’d be outside playing on the swing set before the sun rose.
