I think it’s understandable that heterosexual people get uncomfortable with unwanted attention from the opposite sex-or when they are harrassed. I think it’s perfectly understandable to be uncomfortable with the thought that someone of the same sex might be attracted to you when you are in a stressful situation like combat-or other situations.
