Maybe I’m being too sarcastic here. My point is, the Weekly Standard is just a News Corp. rag. It’s not the POTUS or the Secretary of State, and it sure as shit ain’t “we”.

So saying that “we” are constantly threatening to attack Iran is false.

And in case there was any question about it, a sitting governor or former governor blustering about what they’d do with Iran doesn’t count as “we” either.

Really, maybe the Iranians see Santorum talking about “taking them out” and think otherwise. To us it may seem like idiotic posturing. just as the Iranians see Ahmadinejad as posturing when he says the things we view as threats.
