“Pedophila” as a psychological condition applies to prepubescent children. It is called “ephebophilia” if the attraction is to teens.

However, the crime of pedophilia is applied to any person who has illegal sexual contact with a minor, including teens. It doesn’t matter if the victim was 7 or 17, both are still a crime.

Especially when the adult is in a position of authority over the minor in question…
