That new planet we found. Check out all the numbers and math in the article. If we sent a New Horizons probe, it would take 78,000 years to reach it. One year there is 11 days here.

I was reading on wikipedia about various proposals for interstellar spacecraft, some of which could theoretically achieve speeds allowing them to arrive there in a few decades. So if all goes well, maybe some of the younger lizards will live long enough to see a space probe reach this planet.
