I disagree with him on this issue, vehemently. But if we won’t hear people’s opinions, we will stop knowing how to respond and be worse for it. This is NOT some performance artist. There are many reasonable people who share his view.

we can find out these people’s views without giving them a platform on a national magazine.

that is what Freedom of Speech and Association is about
