not obvious to me. A few nuts on the fringe of the teabag crowd have gotten out of line and are being roundly denounces by Republicans. Even now, their actions are nowhere near Tim-McVeigh bad, just criminal mischief. All politicians use military imagery, and ‘targeting’ your competition is used all the time, in and out of politics, as a metaphor. Caribou Barbie is many tawdry things, but she is not the sort to make ‘an obvious attempt to gin up violence.’ We’re getting too over-sensitive as a result of a few nuts.
