I’m reading the book, that grew out if ab essay entitled “What are we going to do with Dad?”. Written by a GP, Gerentologist, about his true life story about caring for his ageing parents. Some of us, are in the “sandwich” generation, caring for our elders, while caring for our kids.
Memoroy Lessons, by Jerald Winakur, is a lovely book, about his struggle as an MD, to provide help, love & caring guidance to the PEOPLE of his practice. It’s making me cry a lot. So, my message is, reach out, if you need help. If I can help, I will. It’s hard, so very hard.
