I don’t know where you are, but if not in the US, yes, shipping could be as much as the book (or more!).

Buy it and send it to someone here - when you order there is a way you can set up a “ship to” address separate from the billing address.

AND NOTE: I see no personal information about purchasers, not names or locations or anything else. You will get an auto-thank-you note, sent by lulu.com, so I won’t even know your email address (unless you respond to the auto e-mail, then it does come to me at my email).
