ugh… I don’t know, I hate to call out Chuck on this one, but “completely false?” His window was broken by a bullet, right? Fired by a gun, yes? I understand what CJ’s getting at, clearly Cantor left some info out to make it seem more threatening than it was, but his window did indeed get shot out by someone, as far as I can tell. Maybe I missed something here…

If a Democratic Congressman made the same claim, his lack of knowledge of guns and ballistics would be roundly ridiculed by Republicans and his manhood, in general, would be questioned. Instead we’re going to see wall-to-wall “threats of violence affecting both parties” stories.
