I spent today at Stony Brook University on LI - my wife works for Microsoft, and for the past 5 years she’s been running something called ‘DigiGirlz Camp,’ in which girls from all over the island are brought to the school in an effort to get them interested in jobs in technology.

I did a presentation on Digital Recording. Me and a lecture hall full of high school girls recorded a pretty kick-ass version of Katy Perry’s ‘Last Friday Night.’

Now I have to mix it for distribution to all participants sometime next week. Some of those kids can really sing.
