I saw stuff building on radar off to the west so when I got done at work, I hopped on my bicycle and scooted home, skipping church this week. At what would be the time of about half way through, it hit here and has been raining since.

I normally have my son on Sunday and Monday but they’re blocked in at my ex’s house by downed power lines so it looks like I’ll have a quiet weekend by myself.

OTOH, perhaps I can have some of the Rum my father brought back from Jamaica for me though all I have as a mixer is OJ. Rum & OJ? Wonder how that would taste…

When I was in college for about a year, I lived across the street from an orange grove owned by the university and irrigated for tax purposes. Never harvested. One night, it was fresh-squeezed orange juice and rum. Then we had to move on to the 151 rum. Yeah, it works.
