If they were “innocent” why did we keep them at Gitmo?

Consider the notion that all the known information related to these people hasn’t been released, such as under what circumstances they were captured, what we’ve learned and all our classified methods and intelligence that was obtained. There’s clearly more, but this is a good starting point and the NY Times would love to have this information in their was against the US.
