Sure, the new administration will “press” Syria to “change its ways” in an instant now that Oh Glorious Leader Who is Obama has sent him to speak for America. In a snap of a finger, Kerry will reverse decades of strife, and pacify an ad hoc fascist state.

I’m sure we can “trust” Syria after this visit. I mean how can they not be persuaded by Senator Kerry — he’s such a likable guy. Take a look, it’s worked with the Palestinians, Hamas, Iran, and North Korea. Look at how “progressive” Egypt has become over the years.
