Misogyny by any other name.

She mentions misogyny but I don’t think that’s the problem. Protesters were just concerned with protecting their image and furthering their cause instead of cleaning house and protecting the safety of their fellow protesters. It was a callous decision made by a lot of the OWS camps to not report rapes or violence to the police because of the bad publicity. Many seem to think it was more important to protect the image of the movement rather than the victims of assault or rape.
