If confirmed, Sotomayor would be the Supreme Court’s first ever female Hispanic justice (Benjamin N. Cardozo being the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice ever).

So, in other words, the MSM is hyperventillating again. They’re pushing her as the first, when the only thing that makes her different fromt Mr. Cardozo is that she’s female, and the only thing that makes her different from Ms. O’Connor is that she has ancestry from the Iberian Peninsula.

Not very remarkable, IMHO, as I’ve never really understood why “Hispanic” or “Latino” is considered separate from “White” or “Black”.
